RISE NY

I recently had the opportunity to work on a commission for Running Subway Productions, thanks to a call from Dave Collins. Dave mentioned that he couldn't fully explain the project over the phone, so we scheduled a meeting. When I arrived, I was blown away by what they were putting together. I was immediately interested in being a part of it.

My contribution to the project was to create a HIP HOP section that would give tourists and visitors a feel for the raw and gritty urban art of NEW YORK HIP HOP. This is right up my alley, and I was excited to get started.

To help with the project, I reached out to REE TWO @mta_original, an original pioneer Graffiti Artist (aka Writer) from the 70s. He agreed to come on board, along with his son Justin. Working on this project was a pleasure, and I'm grateful for the opportunity!
