Hip Hop Tunnel
From 2022 but better late than never, I’m excited to be a part of the Jersey City Mural Arts Program and to share one of my biggest pieces of art. I am honored to have been given the opportunity to create a mural that pays tribute to the rich and vibrant culture of hip-hop. This mural is a powerful reminder of the impact that hip-hop has had on the world. The mural features some of the most legendary hip-hop artists of all time, like Lauryn Hill, Big Daddy Kane, Big L, and Slick Rick.
Not only is this mural a tribute to the amazing impact hip-hop has had on the world, but it's also a reminder that graffiti can be a really powerful art form. Even though graffiti is often seen as a problem, it's played a huge role in the development of hip-hop culture. From subway graffiti in NYC to street art, graffiti has always been a medium for self-expression and rebellion.
