On and Off the Streets

As a featured street artist in "On and Off the Streets: Urban Art New Jersey", I'm excited to showcase my duality as a street and studio artist. This exhibition explores the impact of the street on the studio and the blurred lines between urban art and fine art. With roots in graffiti, skateboard, and punk subcultures, today's street art has transformed our visual landscape and cultural expression. This exhibition is a homage to the rich talents of New Jersey's urban artists and our contribution to the state's creative spirit. I'm thrilled to display my murals and studio work in this exhibition at the Morrison Museum.

WRAPPED N BLACK

WRAPPED N BLACK art show graffiti will power

I started spring 2019 on a positive note with doing a solo art show in New York City titled wRAPped N BLACK. This show was a gamble because instead of Graffiti or street art I was going to create fine art with urban concepts. As everyone knows me, they were expecting a Graffiti show or even Street Art.

The idea for the show was presented to me by my curator Anthony Bowman on December 2018. I was offered an opportunity to show at Lichtundfire Art Gallery in NYC. We immediately wanted to produce a show representing the urban culture. I got right to work on the paintings immediately after the New Year holidays. I painted ferociously completing one painting after another for I know I only have 3 months to finish the paintings.

The blueprint of the urban culture was the concept so I reached out to Crazy legs, Jamel Shabazz, and Flint Gennari for permission to use their photographs as paintings for the show. Once permission was granted everything else was easy. I pretty much lived in my studio after that.

I would have to say that doing a solo show is very challenging and stressful. Thanks God that I have a great bunch of people on my team that supported me from conception to completion. I couldn’t have done it without them. Nothing worthwhile is easy to do. For me this show was a must for the urban culture.

Thank you everyone that supported me for this show. Now it’s time to work on my next solo show for 2020 or 2021. Back to the drawing board!

URBAN POP

As a featured artist in "URBAN POP", I am thrilled to showcase my INV8DERS series. This collection is a representation of the fusion between graffiti and contemporary urban art, personified by a pigeon symbolizing street artists and a spray paint can head representing contemporary urban art. The vibrant and colorful background is a reflection of my evolution as a graffiti artist, honed through years of experience. My goal is to make the INV8DERS an iconic figure in urban art culture worldwide, showcasing the perfect combination of graffiti, street art, and fine art.
